There is a boat lift, mast crane, washdown pad, environmental station, marine fuel station and storage facilities on land. The harbour is used year-round for launching and hauling out boats.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to small boats, the harbour is also home to the island&#8217;s fishing boats \u2013 an activity that has historically been one of R\u00f8ros&#8217;s most important lifelines. Fishing has played a part in shaping the island&#8217;s culture and community, and fishing boats still contribute to the rhythm of the harbour with their departures, catches and work shifts.
