The brigade consists of around eight people who respond to alarms and handle fires, accidents and other emergencies on the island. Since R\u00f6r\u00f6 does not have a 24-hour manned fire station, the brigade is an important safety resource for the residents.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Operations are carried out within the framework of the \u00d6cker\u00f6 Rescue Service, which is responsible for training, equipment and coordination. In the event of major incidents, the civil defence service cooperates with the municipality&#8217;s other rescue forces. <\/p>\n\n<p>If you are interested in becoming part of the rescue service, please contact \u00d6cker\u00f6 Municipality.
