Twice a year, we host a market: a summer market in July and a Christmas market in November\/December. During these days, the market square is filled with local exhibitors, craft sales, art, design and creative ideas. Visitors can find handmade items with strong roots in the nature and culture of the islands \u2013 everything from everyday objects to decorative works and personal gifts. <\/p>\n\n
For many, the markets are also a social meeting place where residents and visitors gather. In addition to sales, we offer homemade refreshments and lotteries that contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Nord\u00f6sl\u00f6jd is an association of craftspeople, artists and designers from the North Islands and the surrounding northern islands. Together, we create a platform where local creativity can flourish \u2013 from textiles, ceramics and metalwork to painting, woodwork, jewellery and creative design projects.
