Hiking the west side

Lace up your boots and head out onto the trails. This is where the hike begins, taking you straight into the rugged beauty of Rörös – among rocky outcrops, heathland and open views where the sea is always close by. Whether you choose a leisurely stroll or a more challenging route, nature awaits right outside your door, ready to whisper its stories in the wind.

Children's Island

Here, children can run freely over rocks and sand, discover small creatures at the water’s edge and search for treasures among shells and driftwood. The island’s safe environment makes it perfect for families who want to explore the built-up area and nature together.

Swimming on Rörö – enjoy the sea, respect nature

Rörö offers swimming opportunities almost everywhere – from shallow sandy bays to shiny granite cliffs that meet the open sea. Here, swimming is a natural part of everyday life. The sea is always close by, and thanks to the right of public access and beach protection, everyone can enjoy nature – as long as they show consideration: do not disturb, do not destroy.
