The services are mainly provided through home care, with staff travelling to and from Rörö by boat when necessary. This means that even elderly people who continue to live at home on the island can receive help around the clock, for example with personal care, cleaning, meals or night-time supervision.

For people with greater needs, it is possible to apply for a place in special accommodation in the municipality, such as Solhöjden or Bergmans group accommodation.
