The tip / recycling centre on Rörö
Rörö has a staffed recycling centre – often called “Tippen” – where both residents and visitors can drop off various types of waste and recyclable materials. Among other things, combustible and non-combustible waste, electronics, hazardous waste, scrap metal, corrugated cardboard and more are accepted here. Rice and branches are accepted on specific weeks depending on even/odd weeks, and wood is dropped off on other weeks.
Opening hours:
- Wednesdays: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Other days: closed
The centre is closed on public holidays, Midsummer’s Eve, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. In the event of strong winds, the centre may be temporarily closed for safety reasons, and any operational disruptions will be announced via the municipality’s operational information service..
