Since we opened in 2016, we have had the same driving force: to create a place where people feel at home. We started by making our own gelato on site, and it quickly became a success. All gelato is still made here with us, according to Italian tradition, with less cream and air – and more flavour. During peak season, we make up to 100 kilos of gelato a day, in flavours such as pistachio, chocolate, mango, raspberry and much more.
Over time, the business grew. Many guests wanted to stay longer, eat something tasty, enjoy the view – and that’s how the restaurant was born. Today, we cook everything from scratch, always to order and using high-quality ingredients. The menu features everything from our classic original burger made with Swedish beef to vegetarian and vegan options, fresh salads and seafood favourites.
During the summer, we are a large team of around 25 people who do our very best to make sure you enjoy your stay with us. During the summer, we also organise quiz nights, BBQ evenings and visits from troubadours. We like it when there’s stuff going on here, and we hope you’ll join in. We’ve rebuilt, improved, and developed both the kitchen and the dining area – and we’re continuing to grow together with our guests and our island.
You will find us right by the guest harbour on Rörö, a stone’s throw from the ferry. Whether you come for an evening snack, an ice cream in the sun or just to take a break by the sea, we hope you will feel warm in your heart when you leave us.
