Twice a year, we host a market: a summer market in July and a Christmas market in November/December. During these days, the market square is filled with local exhibitors, craft sales, art, design and creative ideas. Visitors can find handmade items with strong roots in the nature and culture of the islands – everything from everyday objects to decorative works and personal gifts.

For many, the markets are also a social meeting place where residents and visitors gather. In addition to sales, we offer homemade refreshments and lotteries that contribute to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Nordöslöjd wants to be a natural part of cultural life on Rörö – a recurring event where tradition, creativity and local craftsmanship can continue to develop and inspire.
