Annelis Watercolours
My name is Anneli and I have been painting watercolours for several years. The nature on Rörö, where I have lived since 1988, is a strong source of inspiration for me – the sea, the light and the open views often recur in my paintings.
I also have a keen interest in history and architecture, which means I enjoy painting motifs from my travels or interpreting old photographs. For me, watercolour painting is a way to relax. To capture both the grandeur and tranquillity of my surroundings – and to tell little stories through colour and form.
